The Constitution is no longer a functioning legal document, we don't have those rights. Any fighting that was done by the military to defend our rights has been a failure, the people responsible for that failure haven't done us any favors, we would be better off if they had not been participating in the military.

This is not true. The Bill of Rights is alive and well. You can be reminded of this by simply looking at news from Europe or the UK. Almost daily I find headlines that make me thankful for our Constitution.
