I think the call for a peaceful and orderly transition to communism and then Trump going silent for three months while hiding in Mar-a-lago was the worst possible thing that could have happened because it created so much chaos among patriots who didn't know if we'd been betrayed or if Trump was still leading us or if Trump had a plan.
It'll take time to recover from that and I feel if Trump had been strong enough to either step aside or lead the resistance rather than timidly maintaining the focus on himself by make press releases and hinting at what he may or may not do, then we'd have already organized ourselves.

The steal would have been infinitely harder. Some left activists would have gotten cold feet and abandoned their ill cause. i was born in '62...just on the backside of the boomer cusp. i loved my childhood and was (and still am) proud to be an American. so were most of the folks i knew. i am now 59. it's taken us 50+ years to get here, we're not going to claw back from the damage done to our country in 4 years. prez maga was but the first, and really, his mission was to expose all of it. he did that, in spades. he also got a lot done in 4 years, a phenomenal amount, and showed us a glimpse of who we really were and who we could be again. everything that we've known for years? the rest of America is really waking up to, now. it's basic science, really: newton's laws of motion, 1-3. #3 is especially applicable. it's coming; the groundswell is happening as we type.
