10-15 years ago I wouldn't care too much especially since I'm only half white myself. But the problem is that groups have gotten people to think that ideologies are intrinsically linked to race. How dare you be not white and believe in Conservative non-leftist values!
I remember growing up, I was seen as a little weird by my Mexican family for not being left, but it wasn't a big deal. Now they act like I'm some sort of race traitor. If that's the way it has to be, then I'll just live with it.
The reality is that if things do break down by race, which seems more and more likely every day, aside from believing in conservative values more than leftist ones, I'll side with the group that will be the most likely to leave me alone once all the dust settles, and that group isn't the race-baiting leftists.
