How the hell did we survive 250 years as a nation? Those who we choose to govern us don't pledge fealty to a king. They take an oath to piece of fucking paper, the words on which are the most important ever written since the Bible.
I may disagree with a Supreme Court decision, but I will never challenge the validity of that decision.

Too many people think that law is simply politics.
It is politics when it is created by the legislature. When it gets to the Courtroom, it becomes more mathematical.
