" Get out of the car" "whoa officer what'd I do"? "You were driving erratically and refused to pull over when signaled, step out of the car". "Whoa I don't even know why I'm being pulled over, can you repeat the same thing four more times so I can keep misunderstanding the English language that we are both clearly speaking".

I see how he got confused pfft...

I get the feeling there is more to the story than what is shown in the two clips. I also know that if a cop tells you to get out of the car you comply (Pa vs Mimms) as it is a lawful order. If you don't comply expect to be pepper sprayed and tossed on the ground at best. If you feel you were wronged after the interaction you file a complaint, you don't sit there and resist during the incident as it only serves to escalate the situation.

He also had orders to keep his hands up and the other cop even told him not to reach in to undo his seatbelt. So how do you leave your vehicle if you can’t undo your seatbelt or lower your hands?

Well, for starters if he had not kept driving until he felt like pulling over he most likely would not have been in that situation in the first place. Second, you tell the officers " I am going to unlock the door". After unlocking the door you say "I am going to open the door". Use your hand to open the door with the outside handle. Now the officers can fully see you and see what you are doing. Now you say "I am undoing my seatbelt". I think you can figure out how it goes from there.

I saw the video as the top post on the "Public Freakout" subreddit, where it has 92,000 points and 323 awards

2nd angle, where you can see the screaming cop:

I know but when I archived the pages, the videos don't play. How can I mirror them on another site?

Virginia cops. Lol. One guy was staring at his laptop while entering an intersection while I was making a left turn. Dumbass nearly hits me. Then he pulls me over (I was smart enough to park before a light even came in because I knew he would come after me) and he comes charging at me screaming and I calmly explained to him I had the green light.

These guys are fragile little egos with bad tempers and you better be skilled in deescalating situations to get away unharmed.

What is the context? Because if an officer tells you yo exit, you must. It sounds like this dude didn't slow down or acknowledge the officers at all before proceding from the blues to a lit area as they hit him with evasion. No idea though, we'll find out details when they pull the "white supremisist racist biggot" move and in the court case it comes out the dude sped off at like 60-70 in a 30 to get to the well lit area... "but I figured I should get to a place to be pulled over as fast as possible" - something my dumb ass friend did and got guns drawn and they tazed him...

Why didn't the official just calmly explain to the driver..

Because if someone drives off from where you pop your blues it immediately escalates it to a high threat stop. I've had guns pulled on me before and I'm white. And with all the anti cop bullshit I would have my gun ready too.

That’s the big myth, that only black peoples get “the talk”. The difference is I listened to my dad. I got pulled over in a similar high threat situation. I hadn’t done anything by the person in the car I was with apparently had. They drew their guns immediately. I complied but also yelled I was reaching for my seatbelt slowly so I could get out of the car. I was thrown on my chest and cuffed for a few minute. Kept my mouth shut they released me and offered me a ride home which I refused. My dad taught me to listen because they are not their to reason with you. That’s what courts are for. Shut up and get a lawyer there is no point in arguing or even speaking with a police officer. Every one of these incidents would be avoided by following “the talk” my dad told me. Which I had gotten when I was younger another time when cops tried to fuck me over by lowing to me. I didn’t do the right thing that time because I talked to the cops thinking I hadn’t done anything wrong so it couldn’t hurt. Boy was I wrong. Got charged because cops don’t give a fuck about the truth they care about arrests. Once you understand the system it’s a lot easier to do the right thing.

Police should aim to de-escalate situations.
They're mostly drama queens, so can't .

Nonono!!!! Cops expect motorists to proceed to a SAFE and preferably off street well lit location at low speed once lights go on!

Here if you stop before that you'll get the loudspeaker ORDERING YOU to proceed to said next location. And they'll be pissed at you for stopping in a bad spot first.

Even THESE COPS acknowledge that was the norm spot there.

And one cop was hispanic, not "white" and a total dick.

Every aspect of this stop, orders, and claimed justifications later are fucked up.

And everyone on any side INCLUDING LE FAM LIKE MINE should stand as one and condemn these shit officers.

It’s safer to pull over in well lit areas. People have impersonated cops before and raped / killed out in dark areas.

A Lt. Col in the military is worried about being raped? And is his training so bad that he can't use his gas to speed off if the person who approaches the vehicle isn't legit? I fear for our military if this guy is representative of officers.
