Liberals are largely made up of people with ‘battered wife syndrome’—they’re still in love with the idea of their party/partner, so they choose to tolerate very heinous and abusive behavior. They KNOW what their partner is doing to the kids, but they choose to ignore it, choose to keep supporting and even defending them

Without their partner they feel they would lose their identity, purpose, moral compass, social credit, friends, respect, etc etc
