Hey... I heard that! 😡 Remember, the marines go through the army for airborne, air assault, ranger, jungle ops, etc. training.
Are there cushy jobs in the army? Sure. But the active infantry units are mostly badass.
Also, all of our troops need protection from this illegitimate potato. They can’t protect themselves without us. Contact your reps and let them know this is unacceptable, and will only lead to recruitment challenges in the future!
Former Army infantry here. Can agree for the most part, however, a lot has changed in 13 years. Even when I was in there were a lot of dirtbags getting into the infantry. We would get rid of most, but a few would slip the net. I imagine by now the number of dirtbags has increased
I heard the same. I saw how the airborne and air assault obstacle courses have been bubble-wrapped and I’ve heard of drill sergeants now saying, “please” and “thank you”. WTF?
So we now know 40% of Marines will be on our side when the time comes. That's a lot lower than I thought it would be. Army is probably a lot lower.
