Former Army infantry here. Can agree for the most part, however, a lot has changed in 13 years. Even when I was in there were a lot of dirtbags getting into the infantry. We would get rid of most, but a few would slip the net. I imagine by now the number of dirtbags has increased

I heard the same. I saw how the airborne and air assault obstacle courses have been bubble-wrapped and I’ve heard of drill sergeants now saying, “please” and “thank you”. WTF?

I was Army Infantry and an NCO for a long time. Combat arms are a joke in the Army. Fuckers can’t qual with their assigned weapons, PT tests get fudged because fatasses can’t pass a run, half of the broke dicks are on profile and the other half are drunk or high. It’s a glorified daycare.

Now they can’t even throw hand grenades. So much for near and far ambushes.

If, God forbid, the sh*t hits the fan and we get wrapped into another world war, they’re probably going to have to lean on us older vets to bail these toddlers out. My back hurts just thinking about it.
