The dude lives in Texas too, not a native but he lives there.
That is the problem. People who aren't natives aren't Texans and don't reflect our values. They have turned Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, and every other blue county into what it is be it Californians, New Yorkers, Illegals, etc.
Our prosperity and booming job opportunity made them flock here and now they are successfully ruining our biggest cities and Southern most counties. Parasites take what they want while harming their host and move on.
Texan's are independent, loud, proud, and about as 2A loving as a man can get. But Texan's aren't all of Texas anymore.
I just had a pretty interesting conversation with him lol, he tried to cite CDC numbers to prove that Texas had the highest gun mortality rate or something like that, I told him that DC has a much higher murder rate, 16.5 based on the number that I saw versus Texas which had a number of 3.2 per 100,000. Kind of went into a tangent after that and he started talking about suicides. I told him that if people really want to commit the suicide and they don't have a gun they will just find other way. I think he got tired after that because he just said really wow man. I asked him if he really disagreed with that, and if he were suicidal and didn't have a gun if he would just give up on trying to commit suicide, that's where the conversation ended. I have really dumb friends man, good guy but Jesus.
I hope it doesn't get that bad, we had talked about guns in person once and I bit my tongue a bit. Wasn't in the mood today plus it was over text. Usually I don't debate over text message, but I was bored. I didn't even "yell" or call names but he still acted like he was taking to a crazed militia guy lol. Oh well.
