I hope it doesn't get that bad, we had talked about guns in person once and I bit my tongue a bit. Wasn't in the mood today plus it was over text. Usually I don't debate over text message, but I was bored. I didn't even "yell" or call names but he still acted like he was taking to a crazed militia guy lol. Oh well.
It's already that bad some places. I know people I used to call friends who say they want to kill me if they ever see me again. Some have even gone as far as contacting places I used to work to try and get me fired only to find out I don't work there any longer. All because politics and they know where I stand.
I've had to cut people off because I could tell that they got too far into the liberal rabbit hole. Even a really good friend of mine that I knew for 10 years, the dude got so petty about my politics that he started trolling my Facebook page after the Corona virus came, saying that I was like a flat earther for not listening to Dr fauci. I think the divisions were always there, it's just that modern politics makes it to where you have to take a side. Maybe I feed into that too, but I'm not going to be silent while everybody else shouts at the rooftop about their stupid SJW stuff.
As this country divides further, be wary of those "friends" of yours.
