There is not just one monopoly operating in an otherwise fair market, where a competitor can come in and challenge. There are LAYERS of monopolistic control. If someone builds a great website and / or application, but it cannot be accessed on iPhones or on google play, how effective will it be? It can still be effective, but it can never be on equal footing to challenge its competitors.
The same thing is true even on laptops and desktops, to a certain extent. If your service / product is pushed out of view and made difficult to find by major search engines, are you really able to compete? If people trying to visit your site are shown scary messages about how your site might be a "hate" website or "illegal" or whatever, are you really able to compete with your competitors?
Unfortunately I also don't have a magic bullet solution for this, but I do think it's VERY important that people on our side understand there are multiple deeply entrenched layers of monopolistic powers. If all we had to do was have some people who are able to build as good or better service as what our opponents have, it would've already been a done deal a long time ago.
This problem was not revealed to the vast majority of Patriots until 2020. Now the real game begins. We will never surrender.
