This isn't about reading comprehension. This is professional-specific meaning to terms

When anyone dies, they stop breathing and the heart stops beating. The part that reads like "heart attack" means just this much and nothing more, per the guy who wrote it.

The next part of that section is written really strangely - "complicating" or something. He got really pissy when questioned about this, saying everybody understands when someone has complications after going to a Dr that the situation got worse, and that's all it means.

So "Police subdual, restraint and compression" is the means of causing the heart and breathing to stop. With heart disease being a "substantial contributing factor"

Nobody could get him to clarify this further, except that GF did not die of a heart attack.

Absolutely no way to get this meaning except by watching the trial live, and this part was agonizingly long because neither lawyer knew the right questions to ask.

Everybody was shitty before it was done, lol

Fentanyl seems to be a strong contributing factor.

Totally ruled out by every medical expert to testify so far. Prosecution has like 4 more to go.

We'll see if defense can get anywhere with that idea.

Really? Dr. Google tells me that one of the symptoms of a Fentanyl overdose is a weakening of breathing, possibly leading to breathing stopping or hypoxia. Hmmmmm.... Interesting that he said he couldn't breathe while he was still standing up.

Fentanyl OD causing death puts you in a coma before you die. GF never went into a coma. Per medical expert testimony so far.

Also GF's respiratory rate was 22 breaths per minute, as high as can be considered normal for him. Totally impossible with fent OD death.

GF saying he couldn't breathe is irrelevant, as he continued to be alert, struggle, and able to speak for many minutes.

He was high AF, but not OD death. Again, we'll see if defense can get anywhere with this point. I don't think he'll try.
