Only prosecution has called witnesses so far. At this point of a trial it SHOULD look horrible for the defense, but it doesn't.
Every cop so far has testified they have personally had people claim they can't breathe when they can. This actually helps the defense.
Medical experts have testified that when you don't have enough oxygen you can't respond intelligently, you're unable to speak intelligibly, so GF could breathe for several minutes of Chauvin being on top of him.
This also helps the defense.
