You’re being a bit obtuse here. If it wasn’t the “knee on the neck” how on earth could chauvin possibly be responsible for Floyd’s heart attack ? The charges all predicate chauvin doing something that caused Floyd to die. What was the thing he did that could have caused Floyd to have a heart attack? Did chauvin feed Floyd junk food and drugs for thirty years ?
The care was demonstrated by calling for ems then requesting ems come more quickly once he felt like Floyd was not doing well. If chauvin wanted him to die or to allow him to die by inaction he wouldn’t have taken these actions. The context of excited delerium and a gathering hostile crowd required Floyd to be kept restrained as well.
