Dem controlled NM is an open carry state and they recently had a special legislative session basically to push through legal marijuana.
I suspected since majority of county sheriffs refused to enforce some of their ridiculous gun control enacted in 2019 that gun confiscation was the purpose of the marijuana legalization.
They pass pro marijuana laws in Blue states and then can come get your guns for legally smoking in a state, but also breaking Federal laws.
No one even noticed it.
The 9th Circuit did a few years ago. Anyone who had a weed card and a carry permit got a letter saying to turn in their guns or else.
