Yeah, it’s a symbiotic relationship if it helps at all. Technically, the mask is to stop sick people from spewing viral load into the air. It’s why a surgeon wears a mask. To protect the patient when they’re most vulnerable.

There literally nothing that shows they work and the verbiage is it might help slow the spread.

If you look at Japan, who had widespread mask use before covid, they had the worst flu season in their history in the year prior to all this nonsense. The masks don’t work.

The flu has been pushed aside from a biological standpoint, however. A more dominant virus has swallowed the playing field of hosts. That’s not really a mystery and has happened with every single virus that’s come and gone. When covid mutates into a weaker form and herd immunity is achieved, we will see the return of influenza and other “variants” of covid.

I don’t doubt this is a virus that was manipulated in the lab in an attempt to play readiness games and is part of why it’s so dominant within the populace. The flu just got moved aside, for now.
