what about boxers? they get hit in the head all the time, without helmets. i don't recall any boxers committing a mass murder...

Well...since you asked. Former competitive boxer Samuel Little, African American male. Samuel Little (June 7, 1940 – December 30, 2020) was an American serial killer who was convicted in 2012 of the murders of three women in California between 1987 and 1989 as well as in 2018 of the murder of one woman in Texas in 1994. He claimed to have killed as many as 93 women,[5] and investigators have linked him to over 60 murders. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has confirmed Little's involvement in at least 60 murders, the largest number of proven cases for any serial killer in United States history.[2][6][7] He allegedly murdered women across 19 states over a third of a century ending around 2005.[8] The number of murders he confessed to, if confirmed, would make him the most prolific serial killer in United States history.
