Gates has vast control over education, vaccines, computer technology and if he can get a strong foothold in food production he can create a global food crisis that will reap more benefits. Getting the Keystone Pipeline is creating profits because Gates, Buffet, and Zuckerberg own the rail lines that will ship crude oil and so the billionaires just keep getting richer.

TJac --- Have they ever proposed to buy up all the small farms and give you a ton of money that is hard to turn down? I'm glad you are still farming but the temptation must be great at times and with the government in the back pocket of the elite they could almost rewrite laws to make you sell.
Are these 6 families new money --- ie. gates, zuckerberg, or just families that got bigger and bigger over time. Is Biden going to stick it to farmers because you are are part of the middle class that he wants to destroy.
I wish I could be a farmer but probably couldn't handle the work but living in an urban area it seems very appealing to us city folk. Never sell because when the shit hits the fan, farmers are going to be the only ones that will really matter. Thanks fren.
I was always just a part time farmer myself, and mostly hay. Retired a few years back and now just mostly just mess around on the 5 acres I kept.As far as the old families, they were here b-4 1800. If acreage goes on the market now it is sold fast.I sold my place to a young family from Ok. Turned down more money from the land brokers because I wanted people that would make their home there. Long as you pay taxes on time govt, doesn't bother you much.If you are not familiar with it, find Paul Harvey's "God made a Farmer."
