I had thought about it a lot and decided that it was probably worth the risk, based on conversations with medical researchers who really understand how it works.
Then yesterday we had a workplace webinar where the president said that all staff are required to get the vaccine. Someone said how can you possibly require a vaccine that isn't even approved, but is only under emergency use authorization. The general counsel piped up and said that we think we are within our legal rights to require you to get it.
Someone else pointed out that in order to get this experimental vaccine we have to sign away our liability rights, so if the vaccine injures or kills us we have no recourse. And so isn't the company then liable for forcing you to take that risk? The webinar went silent for about 40 seconds and then the general counsel said that she would "circle back" on that question. So now they are worried...
Going to wait this one out for a bit.
Eh, they are there but you have to camouflage yourself or you become an easy target in an academic setting. I am definitely not a leftist but no one would suspect me of being "conservative" either based on how I portray myself outwardly.
Same, I had to go under the radar when I was in college. So if there are 5 conservatives in that class, those are the 5 outspoken ones. Now that I've got my degrees idc and I spout off all the time outside of work.
I don't get you guys. In college and at work, basically anywhere, I thrive in debate and love to take on demoKKKrats in person, in a classroom, at work, wherever. I'm prepared for about any debate and can laugh someone out of a room when they pull the race card. Tell my half black children their daddy's racist will ya? Lol 😆. I wouldn't pretend to be something I'm not. You all sound like scared pussies or you sound unconfident. Perhaps you are the one unprepared for debate? I can debate a room full of demoKKKrats. Catch them in contradictions, hypocrisies, use their own argument against them, etc.
Lol. You can enjoy your little dick-measuring contest by yourself, but some of us who actually want to infiltrate the system go to the schools the establishment institutions actually care about where that sort of open debate isn't tolerated or your grades are purposely deflated. I got enough heat defending Christopher Columbus in a history class and that wasn't even a current political topic when I was in school.
