We had a ballot question in my state two years ago regarding trans people and the bathrooms. I had an argument with a man about how there is no way I would feel comfortable with a man in a dress in my public bathroom. His response was "why cant you let people be who they are?". Really? how come "letting people be who they are" always involves me having to change what I think and do? No. I don't want to accept men in women only places. I don't want to use made up pronouns. I don't want to change the definition of his and hers to accommodates those who can't tell the difference between a male and a female human. I don't want my church to marry same sex couples, or throuples or whatever comes next. How about if they want their kinks, they keep their kinks away from my rights.
