Look at 12th century Prussia... Who's land was stolen from that perspective? You basically just admitted as much. What piece of land on this earth could you not call stolen from some perspective or another? It's childish bullshit.

Prussian land by Teutons, because Prussians were pagans at the time.
But you're right. But I'm also partially right.
Anyway.
My take on Nazis and Hitler? If Hitler would have stay in the borders he already have and fought his domestic problems, he would have been regarded as a hero today UNANIMOUSLY. Because he lifted Germany up in record time and made them into superpower.
But he fucked up picking fights left and right and finally getting his ass handed to him. A take that he was on some great quest to squash communism worldwide is bunch of bullshit, since he basically signed treaties with communists. Up until Barbarossa Germany waged war mostly on oil bought from Soviets.
History could remember him as a hero without any doubt but he fucked it all up. Legend and myths about him, negative myths by jew lovers and positive myths by /pol/ circlejerks are both retarded.
Sounds about right. They certainly converted to Christianity relatively quickly, though... I've seen a coat of arms granted by the Prussian king for preaching/spreading Christianity in like 1250.
> stayed in his borders
Difficult to say regarding Poland. There's too much propaganda for me to decipher a clear truth as to what the actual catalyst was... But at that point it doesn't seem he had much of a say with regards to the conflict with western powers... Though the Russian war he started (AFAIK) was definitely a massive logistics fuck up.
There were a lot of other things he fucked up too... I'm sure the meth had something to do with that.
Agree with you about the negative/positive myths, the goal of anyone should be truth. My original point was just to say he wasn't going for global domination, which is essentially what is taught and the original commenter was pushing

But he was certainly going for Eurasian domination. Also the fact that he first declared war on USA even though he totally didn't have to... at least show as a massive blunder.

Ok, then let me tell you at least one thing.
German Navy was coming every year to Poland for anniversary of sinking of the SMS Magdeburg on the 25th of August. It was always a diplomatic, peaceful thing, done year after year since the First World War ended.
In 1939 they came on SMS Schleswig-Holstein, jacked up to the brim with artillery shells and hidden group of navy soldiers, when it was always a smaller, more "celebratory" kind of ship. It was kept secret up until the 1 of September 4:45 AM.
The only one Polish official that was in any way aware of it was subsequently kept captive (I'm entirely sure about this) and (not sure on this one) probably killed before he could pass the word forward and before the 1st of September.
Anyone saying that Poland somehow started this shit by some covert sneaky action is most likely lying. There were tensions about Danzig/Gdańsk but that's a lot deeper can of worms here.
> look back into history pre WW1
>> You mean STEALING reeee!
> Prussia was Poland's bitch in the 1500s
