Pride and Prejudice was an great movie. Other than that, I can't explain why my gender loves the Harry Potter movies so much. I apologize on their behalf.
The 1995 P&P is by far my favorite of the two, but I'm with you here. The HP movies are fine for kids, but I'm over them. The Sound Of Music is fabulous, though. And where are classics like Casablanca????

Or Gone With The Wind? That's one of my all time favorites. Brokeback Mountain? Seriously?
