I try to make an analogy to people who don't own guns, on how current gun control works. Imagine trying to stop drunk driving by banning cars with chrome wheels, spoilers and hood scoops. Only allow the sales of cars with 2 seats, and limit gas tanks to 5 gallons (you know, so drunks can't drive too far and kill too many people). Yet, when a drunk does plow into the side of a minivan, and kills an entire family, you just give them a ticket and nominal fine.
