Agreed. But if someone pulls a gun on you, there's three options. Do what they say and hope you survive, run and hope you survive, or fight back and hope you survive. Once someone starts trying to take your gun, there is a justifiable argument for self-defense on the gun owners part.

Listen and sound concerned because obviously they have guns so you should be. Assure them you weren’t involved in any misdeeds, tell them you won’t be jogging around that area anymore.
