The goal (endpoint) of each of the vaccines was stated clearly by their manufacturers - it was to reduce the severity of symptoms of the disease and reduce COVID deaths. Meeting that goal is what granted them Emergency Use Authorization by the FDA.

The idiotic media in this country (as well as Biden) has been selling this vaccine as an end to the disease, which is not true. The fact that people being vaccinated are coming down with the disease is not only understandable, it's somewhat expected if the people vaccinated are thinking they are immune to contracting the disease.
