not really, because they freely admit that it technically is not. that's just to make it easier to present to the public. they might well do the same thing even if it wasn't an evil plot. they're trying to play it off as a colloquialism. "No, it's not a vaccine, but it achieves the same result, so what's the difference" is what the believers might say. They're just not being particularly forthcoming, like pharmaceutical companies rebranding chemicals, or like intel with that i3 i5 i7 shit. Although I admittedly hate those opaque practices as well
