  1. Limited number of people in experiment

  2. Not testing with viruses which are very distinctly different from bacteria or sputum

  3. testing only one potential form of transmission

  4. assuming that a quantity of not-virus can be used to extrapolate amount of theoretical virus

  5. not actually testing or observing transmission, only looking at the “send” not the entire “receive”

  6. not accounting for real life variables (mask wear over time)

  7. not looking for any potential risks of the mask

  8. Types of mask not controlled for, effectively their experiment can only show how well their volunteers make masks that temporarily redirect their respiratory expulsions.

This is an arts and crafts project, not science.

Please don’t argue I don’t have much energy for stupid today. Go back to Reddit if you want to circlejerk about masks.

  1. doesn't matter, you're not going to get different results with a larger batch size
  2. wrong, covid is EXCLUSIVELY carried by mucus aerosols and droplets
  3. the mask only PREVENTS one form of transmission, idiot
  4. doesn't even make sense
  5. receive doesn't matter. we're testing MASKS
  6. also doesn't matter, wasn't the purpose of the experiment
  7. not the purpose of the experiment
  8. surgical masks were also tested, as well as N95 respirators, but again those are simply so they have something TO COMPARE TO. industrial produced masks have their own quality control, that's why they are ALLOWED to put those ratings on their packaging

you're a fucking moron

  1. Yes sample size matters

  2. wrong. Viruses have more vectors

  3. wrong again. It creates a new vector itself especially with long term use in public

  4. Yes it does. You’re just stupid.

  5. you’re talking about transmission but half of the equation doesn’t matter? You’re extra stupid.

  6. always matters you’re using this right now to suggest that masks are valid you fucking moron.

  7. making it a shit experiment

  8. ok so expand what I said to include those other masks that were equally tested in a totally meaningless way.

Go back to Reddit you stupid faggot.

  1. nope
  2. covid doesn't
  3. nope
  4. nope
  5. it's testing the mask, not "transmission" u retard
  6. nope
  7. regular experiment. they isolate and test as few variables as possible, that's how science is done, retard
  8. again, tested just to ensure that their testing methods actually work. which they do. you're a fucking dumb retard
