Well actually traffic stops are second only to domestic calls as the most dangerous for cops, not saying what they did was right, but dude traffic stops are VERY dangerous for cops. Look up some stats or talk to a cop and he will tell you the same thing EDIT: Just so I am clear, fuck cops, they have burned through every ounce of respect I had for them this last year, and that took a lot being a former cop. I get what you're saying, but I would think that the reason traffic stops and domestic calls are the most dangerous for cops would be statistics.... This is where cops interact with citizens the most, so this is where they could possible get hurt by a citizen.... I've not seen cops approach a vehicle that pulled over and stopped with guns drawn.... if this dude had led them on a 5 minute car chase then I would say that they have a better reason to draw their weapons.
