I’m starting to really hate the word “science”. It is just used as a signal to NPCs that their new programming has arrived to overwrite the old programming. Didn’t the science tell us we had to disinfect everything last year? Guess science was wrong.

I like science, but I have learned to hate scientists.

Scientists should not be put in decision making roles. Their skill set is not suited to it. The narrow focus and dedication it takes to become a world class scientist basically ensures the person is a complete idiot on every other topic. Leaders need to be well rounded and have common sense, something that is rare among scientists.
