Texas here. Frens are welcome. I think we need to quickly enact laws that we know libs hate. Maybe a property tax break if you open carry 50% of the time in public. Libs will not want to see so many scary guns and therefore will stay as far away as possible. Creative legislation.
The big freeze we had was great for scaring away the outsiders. They now think Texas homes are poorly built for the elements and there's a risk of freezing to death in winters. Keep talking about how apocalyptic it was. Also, I think that the Californian's moving to Texas are a much higher percentage of conservatives than the makeup of California itself. I personally know a lot of people who have left California, want to or are planning to and they are overwhelmingly conservatives. I don't really here the liberals talking about leaving. A town called Simi Valley, Trump flags everywhere and at the time was the 17th most conservative city in America. I live in TX, but I use to live in CA. I still go back there regularly for business and family. I don't really like to fly so I usually drive. One of my favorite things about driving around the super-liberal area I visit in CA is having TX plates and a big Gadsen flag on the back of my truck. Just fun to know I'm probably triggering the occasional Prius driver behind me. Interestingly I've never experienced any road-rage while there.

The funny thing is that there are about 4 people a week bitching on Nextdoor about having their catalytic converters stolen out of their cars, I have to laugh when I see that.
