Criteria:

1: No vaxx-mandates, any.. 2: No gun-free zones 3: No cannabis state-prohibition 4: Low taxes 5: Homeschooling possible or at least the liberty to choose the best private school regardless of zoning-shit. 6: No cuck RINO-governors 7: No Satanic-governors (but I repeat myself) 8: Proper High Speed Internet-connectivity as I work in IT and would like to continue with that (Linux-admin)

Do not need to be in a city as I have started to have a dislike for people in general as there are more stupid people than smart walking around on this planet. The less I get in contact with, the better.

There is probably more to be added to the list, so please add some that you might think is relevant.

Hope there is someone here with some nice tips. Best wishes from a previous an-cap-tard turned human being.

Lmao damn short, sweet, and to the point.

Not to mention, if you’re trying to flee indoctrination by fleeing to America, you’ll be in for a helluva surprise. America is the indoctrination capital of the world. Communists are targeting America like never before.

Were going to Florida - only medical marijuana at the moment, but I’m sure that’ll change in about five years

8
tom_machine 8 points ago +16 / -8

I’ve never heard of a financially successful person that smoked weed and wasn’t a communist

8
ByeByeCalifornia 8 points ago +14 / -6

Then either you haven't met enough people, or people aren't being honest with you about cannabis consumption. Most likely the latter since you have an obvious negative opinion on it. Shaming or berating people who use cannabis is no different than doing it over not wearing a mask. There is no harm to you, but you don't like that others do it. Do you drink? Because the most successful people I know don't drink alcohol, but some do use cannabis.

Meet more successful people AND don't be a weed hater in front of them and see how many get honest. Live and let live.

P.S. - I'm a cannabis user and EXTREMELY successful in business. Most of my peers are the same.

10
tom_machine 10 points ago +12 / -2

I’m not an ignorant weed hater by the way... I used it extensively myself only to find out the negative effects are way worse than the positive

And yes I do not really find alcohol to be that great either for the same reasons. Also my father was an alcoholic

I had a DUI a few years ago... being locked in a cell for a night woke me up to all the stupid thinking that had got me into that position

I had been working in a factory

Now I design and build computer programs

Amazing what quitting “hanging out” with all the drug consuming bums can do for your success

3
tom_machine 3 points ago +7 / -4

Also in your other posts you talk about being sober for 8 years.

Hate to break it to you but if you regularly use cannabis you haven’t been sober for shit.

2
lash [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Cannabis is not a toxicity, like alcohol.

1

Ya you’re right he driving while high is a good idea and totally safe. Matter of fact, having all operators of heavy machinery toke up before their shifts would reduce overall mortality. It’s been proven by a bunch of scientists who published their study in Weed Magazine

Hi I’m a financial successful disabled veteran who smokes weed to help with PTSD and a broken back - nice to meet you!!

0
tom_machine 0 points ago +1 / -1

It’s a lot better than opioids for that kind of thing, I’ll give you that.

Suffice it to say we may have two different definitions of financially successful but who am I to force my own definition down someone else’s throat

I’ve also never said it should be illegal

I just notice that it affects how many people think, usually it isn’t as good an idea as most users make it out to be. They love the stuff but can’t get ahead financially

I’m glad you were able to find something that works for you

Also being a veteran doesn’t definitively prove you’re not a communist, but it’s a start

2
UpdootVeteran 2 points ago +3 / -1

lol well I make three figures and have a masters degree, looking at quitting my job to take care of the kids full time as my husband and I don’t really need my income with his. No debt, we own our house and cars, kids go to private school. My husband is also a combat veteran I work in finance and he works in public affairs for a few republican based non profits in the area. I think the average person would agree that we are financially successful and not communists. Cannabis is - like everything else - what you make of it. While you touched on opioids - alcohol, cigarettes, and food addictions are just as damaging to the physical and mental health of people.

1
tom_machine 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’m not the average person (and I don’t really care what the average person thinks when it comes to success because average sucks IMHO and they have no clue.) I’d give you guys a Dave Ramsey A+ (depending if you have some kind of nest egg stashed away other than your house, if not I’d have to go lower... also why own your car when you could own income producing assets instead). I’m not huge on Mr Ramsey myself. It sounds like you guys are further along in life than me, and if that works for you then great I’m not gonna knock it.

I agree with most of what you said and I mentioned opioids because typically that’s what gets prescribed for back pain and it often leads to awful health outcomes due to its highly addictive nature... cannabis would be far better in those cases if it provides the relief needed

Ps I think you mean 6 figures? :)

2
UpdootVeteran 2 points ago +2 / -0

Haha yes I was distracted when responding. Yes the Army just kept giving me opioids and Xanax and I couldn’t live that way anymore. Now I just smoke at night and go to bed :)

We paid our cars off and they’re pretty new so I don’t see any point on getting new ones. We’re really fortunate because I fought for my medical retirement from the Army, so we have medical, dental, and vision outside our jobs. And yes we have a nice savings as well. My advice is to just cut out things you don’t need - new clothes, new cars, Hulu, Netflix etc. slowly start to eliminate the stuff you don’t need. Also you can eBay any valuable stuff you have in the house you want to get rid of. Stuff just isn’t that important to us these past three years.

Not all weirdos who smoke cannabis are bad people. I’m extremely patriotic and definitely 100% trump supporter - I’m over the GOP personally. Just wanted to speak up for those us who use cannabis responsibly. Wishing you and your family the best in these times!

So you didn't see Elon smoking a blunt on the Joe Rogan podcast then?

6
tom_machine 6 points ago +8 / -2

Also Elon is pushing for vaccines and relies on government money to fund his companies

Ted Turner founded cnn

Lot of “capitalists” have commie tendencies when weed is involved

0
tom_machine 0 points ago +4 / -4

Pure publicity stunt, like most everything that guy does nowadays

If you think Elon was anywhere near that stuff when he was getting his start, you’re fucking dreamin’

Plus the shit in the 90s wasn’t as strong as today

2
2008RonPaul2012 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't smoke, though I did occasionally in the past when I was in school. I think you need to keep in mind that something being illegal massively changes the dynamic around it. If weed were legal it would be much weaker, first of all. That's been proven. But overall, I think weed could easily find a socially acceptable niche alongside cigars and alcohol that successful people enjoy.

7
tom_machine 7 points ago +8 / -1

The shit they sell in dispensaries is plenty potent

THC makes you relaxed, compliant, and lazy... none of which are good for success.

When you form a habit around it, which most people do, you then get to experience intense anxiety and chemical withdrawal symptoms when you take a “break” from that habit.

It’s not a coincidence that men like Trump don’t use anything. Trump himself has a mantra he repeats to his kids: “No alcohol, no drugs, no cigarettes” to the point the he annoyed the shit out of them with it

2
2008RonPaul2012 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm not advocating that people should smoke weed. I'm just pointing out that many successful people drink alcohol and indulge in other vices, and that the only reason weed has a different stigma around it is the nearly 100 years of prohibition around it. If that were to go away, weed would become just as acceptable among white collar successful types as any other vice, and Trump would still not use it.

0
tom_machine 0 points ago +1 / -1

Why didn’t the romans use it?

Weed has many characteristics which make it worse socially than alcohol.

One is if you don’t want to use it but your friend does, well you don’t really have a choice because it’s gonna be in the air all around you. Whereas if you want to drink but I don’t, I won’t end up coming home smelling like whiskey

Also the THC potency of the shit they had 2,000 years ago was anywhere near the potency of today’s

4
AsaNisiMAGA 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not too difficult to get a med card. Tell the doctor you have anxiety or chronic pain or really anything vague that cannabis could alleviate.

3
tom_machine 3 points ago +4 / -1

Cannabis hasn’t been proven to relive any of that shit that’s why they don’t give you a prescription, they just give a little card that’s says you’re allowed to use it personally without being arrested

Doctors just collect the fee and move on to the next customer, because really at that point you’re a customer not a patient

Ask this question: how much time / energy do you spend getting / using marijuana that you could be spending on your own success

2
AsaNisiMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Everyone I know personally who has a card is 60+, quite a few are in their 80s and 90s. And if they want to burn a fat one at the next cookout I'm not saying shit to them. They're perfectly capable of making their own choices and have earned their leisure as far as I'm concerned. But I agree that if it is interfering with people reaching their goals, financially or otherwise, that's a negative and something to seriously consider.

I would suggest Texas, Oklahoma or Florida. You will likely not find exactly what you’re envisioning but of those three you should be able to get close.

4
AgorismIsTheFuture 4 points ago +4 / -0

There's nothing with all that.

  1. This isn't a thing, yet. It'll likely happen in heavily left states. Poopypants Joe may try to mandate something nationwide.

  2. Pretty sure every state will have some level of gun-free, even if it prohibits you from going into a government building. Places can also tell you no guns allowed on their private property.

  3. Have a list

  4. Have a list of states with no income tax

  5. You can homeschool pretty much anywhere, but you generally won't get state/federal funding for it. States with some voucher programs

6 & 7. So Florida

  1. This won't be by state but by locality. There are a few small podunk towns with decent internet and a lot of cities with shit internet. You'll have to do your research. If you don't need a low ping (<50), you can get pretty good UL and DL speeds by beta testing Starlink and have a lot more options (though not as many as there will be when it's out of beta).

2

Fix the country you come from. That's the issue now.

Realistically, we have to keep america from going down the drain. It's citizens are the only thing standing between freedom and global control by the elite.

The United States are all pretty cool, except for the few splotches of corruption in the cities. Once you get ten miles from the democratic party controlled city, it's good ole american made, freedom loving, patriots. Come to the southern part of the US, and help save the country, then the rest. We have to get georgia cleaned up, before it spreads. Louisiana almost bought into the dominion voter machine corruption, but backpedaled.

Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side my pede. It’s a bit expensive to get in the area, but, it will feel like home and you get everything the USA has to offer all in one spot, legal too. Nevada is a swing state and needs a bit of a boost to keep the blue wall from locking down the coastal west. It’s redeemable, especially when we get rid of machines.

1

Pennsylvania (NOT PHILLY AREA!!). Northern PA is one of the freest places I know. I'm moving [back] there myself and away from Commifornia. I leave in less than 4 weeks.

Got medi cannabis, rec cannabis is up for vote with a VERY high chance of passing.

Open carry state and concealed carry is "will issue" meaning you need a clean background and $20 to conceal carry.

Lots of industry.

LOCAL GOV MEANS MORE THAN STATE - which is how it should be.....

Look into it. PA is the best I've found and my wants are about the same as yours.

Move to the fly over country of America, not near any cities. People are friendly but leave you alone. A red state is prob better than a blue state. I live in SW Virginia but my state was recently taken over by blues prob because there’s been voter fraud going on the last few elections centering around cities in Northern Va., near the DC swamp. My county and town are very conservative so it’s been pretty nice here. Our county even declared itself a sanctuary gun county. Taxes are 1/3 of what they were when we resided in the People’s Republic of Connecticut.

1
WheelsUpNorth 1 point ago +1 / -0

There is a small problem with wanting a state with no cannabis prohibition while still wanting to exercise your Second Amendment rights; FedGov doesn’t look kindly on cannabis usage.

From Form 4473: “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance? Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.”

You lie on this form, that opens you up to a felony charge. Unless your last name is Biden, of course.

-9
BasicKekinomics -9 points ago +13 / -22

You're going to need to prioritize your list because you can't get all of those things in one place.

Especially the high speed internet.

You can get most of them by moving to a red state and buying property out in the middle of nowhere, but weed laws still exist and your internet options are going to suck.

Service providers took taxpayer money in a deal that said they would build out high speed internet access to rural areas, but they never did.

20
Rusty_Nut 20 points ago +20 / -0

Keep your eye on Musks' Starlink internet satellite service for rural areas. It's in beta now and reports are good and as they fill out the constellation with more satellites things should only get better including possible speed of 300Mbps. Admittedly, only time will tell but one thing the whole concept has going for it is Elon Musk, he hates to lose.

11
BasedMedicalDoctor 11 points ago +13 / -2

StarLink is the future. Glad to see people gaining awareness of it.

-16
BasicKekinomics -16 points ago +6 / -22

100 a month is pricey, and there's no way around the latency issue or the problems with connectivity that satellites bring.

But yes, it seems like it will be a big improvement nonetheless.

8
Rusty_Nut 8 points ago +8 / -0

RE latency, the satellites of Starlink are in LEO (203-360 miles up) which, according to what I've read, puts latency in the 60-70ms area posing little drawback vs Hughesnet and the others with their birds up in the 23000 mile region and latency at about 600ms. Agree $100/mo is getting up there but if it turns out rock solid in reliability and 300Mbps is achieved, $3/day isn't a real deal breaker if one needs internet and lives out in the boonies.

4
FutileConundrum 4 points ago +4 / -0

Hubbie wants to permanently work from home and raise our kids on land with livestock and space.

So we are hoping Starlink is a success.

2
Repentnow 2 points ago +2 / -0

Do it! We live in one of the most rural counties in America. There is only one incorporated town in the entire county. No physical addresses (rural route). It's so rural, our actual mailing address is in another county. But I am a remote-worker, Network Engineer. For years, we've had a dedicated 15 mile point to point internet link that provides a stable link for my corporate VPN. And a household full of homeschooled gamers who would never settle for congestion or high latency.

2
FutileConundrum 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hubbies folks live in rural TX. They offered us some property to build on. Hopefully moving this year.

Wanted to live near family as another requirement. 👍

2
Repentnow 2 points ago +2 / -0

Same here. A dozen years ago, my family, and my parents, left our busy lives and together bought a ranch in a state neither of us lived in. I'd lived out on my own all over the US (and overseas) but purposing to move to be near my parents was one of the best decisions of my life. Many of my now adult children have told us that being raised rural & near their grandparents was best.

1
Latin_Patriot_MAGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

to have that latency you must have at least 5mb of connection

-17
BasicKekinomics -17 points ago +5 / -22

That does make it attractive and I'm sure the price will come down as long as the government doesn't regulate/tax the fuck out of them.

7
Rusty_Nut 7 points ago +7 / -0

As soon as you say 'government' I start to shake like a dog passing broken glass!

2
Repentnow 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm reading on reddit that latency testing is sub 100ms. Often varying between 25ms & 60ms.

-20
BasicKekinomics -20 points ago +2 / -22

In prime conditions, I assume.

Yes, even that is a huge improvement over what satellite internet is now.

But heavy clouds, snow, and many other factors inhibit satellite connectivity.

If it's a cloudy day sometimes you have no internet at all.

Of course you know all that, I'm just pointing out the inherent problems with satellite.

Obviously it's the best thing going for rural areas.
