Too bad Ducey is a traitor who needs to hang with the rest of them. RINO scum.

Yeah, the only thing I will remember Ducey signing is the fraudulent certification as he ignored a call from Trump.

AZ gubernatorial election is 2022. 'Nuff said.

BoltBoltBoltBolt90 9 points ago +9 / -0

If Paul Gosar runs for that seat, he's our guy to root for and vote for. He's the current representative for AZ-4 and a true patriot.

When's the primary

1
BoltBoltBoltBolt90 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't know the exact date but it should be a few months before the election. Doug Ducey cannot run again, he is term-limited, so we won't have to worry about him possibly winning a primary again despite being a RINO.

StartAgain 15 points ago +15 / -0

No matter how good a RINO acts, even if legitimate, never forget that they were a backstabber in the first place

This is a good step forward. Now to ban electronic voting machines.

23
Mixlplex 23 points ago +23 / -0

This is the only way forward. It will not stop cheating entirely (look at the 1960 election, or the 'hanging chad' issue of 2000) but it will make it harder.

If their use is not banned, we need to plan a Nation-wide Peaceful Protest/Day of Destruction to rid our ourselves of those filthy machines.

Insurance will cover the losses.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey on Friday signed legislation banning the use of private funding for elections but said the money the state received last year from organizations with funding from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s foundation was helpful and used with "integrity.”

But the Republican governor said election officials should not be forced to rely on private grants for voter outreach, staffing or other expenses in the future. While he said nothing in the new law should be interpreted as a sign the state is unappreciative, the bill is needed to preserve the integrity of and voter confidence in elections.

God, I wish we had politicians that spoke straight without being two faced. The way he tries to not piss of Facebook annoys me.

polJosephWatson 12 points ago +13 / -1

Snakes, all of them.

7
SomeoneInHouston 7 points ago +7 / -0

We need to stop Zuckerburg money flowing in to keep election integrity. But, that doesn't mean the large amounts we did take in the last fraudulent election was used for that but was helpful and used with integrity.

What???

7
DrCowboyPresident 7 points ago +7 / -0

ca18det 5 points ago +5 / -0

He's terrified of Facebook and the growing power of Silicon Valley which will no doubt start building "private defense forces" of drones in the not too distant future.

3
Supernova 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why do we need voter outreach programs? People know that elections are coming up and they know they have the right to vote so what the fuck is the point of outreach?

1
Monz 1 point ago +1 / -0

To reach out for that one guy to vote for you.

1
Supernova 1 point ago +1 / -0

Then let the candidates pay for it. Government shouldn’t pay people to vote.

Most states already had laws on the books that would have prevented a lot of the fraud. But remember the laws were illegally changed right before the election.

New laws mean nothing if old ones aren't enforced.

cajun_robear 5 points ago +5 / -0

"Election Grants" = vote buying.

Is Ducey not the GOP governor that knowingly certified a fraudulent election during the hearings?

I remember the old GOP lady in white saying that she told Ducey when he was making contracts with Dominion that they were not dependable and he ignored her.

Zuckerberg's money is the least of his involvement in elections. Who cares that he's not allowed to donate money to support voter outreach, when he has the power to reach nearly every voter for free.

Even laws, existing or potential, that would limit his ability to campaign for a candidate using his platform are useless when he and his company employ tactics like "fact checking" to campaign, while still claiming to be neutral.

4
Tellsyouhow 4 points ago +6 / -2

Bullshit. It's crazy that it takes a rigged election to make these dicks take action, but we all know these bills are all horse shit posturing to make conservatives forget their elected officials are traitorous.

Nothing passes without the blessing of the Uniparty. They need to maintain the illusion of dual party Democracy to make you think someone else is fighting your battles on your behalf so you stay asleep and keep those donations rolling in.

4
Somalia_is_gay 4 points ago +6 / -2

Ducey the scumbag retard.

3
resoluteAction 3 points ago +3 / -0

The thing is private money was already illegal. What they should be doing is suing Zuckerberg and having him placed in jail.

All the Rino's noticing people are not allowing their flip flop to continue are trying hard to take a stand now however that is 5 months to late.

3
BasedTemplar 3 points ago +3 / -0

People need to remember that every step forward we take may be enough to win back a state in 2022. The Dems used MANY ways to cheat but were only able to pull off 3 states by a razor thin margin.

If those states had gone our way Trump would still be President right now.

Don’t let up. Keep pushing.

VikingHalo45 3 points ago +3 / -0

3

After his useless ass has benefitted from their ass-kissing dollars. He’s such a fraud

3
sustainable_saltmine 3 points ago +3 / -0

Good. Corporate money does not belong in elections. Corporations should not he allowed to donate to candidates, only citizens and that should be capped at the $2700 tops we have now. All donations need to be verified as to the source so they don't break up million dollar donations into small pieces and pose as a few hundred people all donating the max at a time to launder the money

2
Snowdone 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ducey also did not call for a special session of the Arizona legislature so he could certify a fraudulent election... he signed it while they were having hearing with actual witnesses to the fraud and did not take the Presidents call live on TV. Ducey is a Piece of Shit.

2
texas4ever 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is a positive development- IF we can these small gains but still primary these people. If we vote for these people again based on the small concessions they are making, we deserve to lose.

1
EagleOverTriumph 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's cool, Cuckerburg will give his money to some poor homeless bastard and threaten their life if they don't give it to the correct donation target. That way it becomes a totally not corporate donation. That's how it worked for Bernie.

I’m speaking for myself here but I’m pretty confident that every single one of us knew the Commies would rig it the day after Trump squeaked by. There was just too much money and power not to. Trump’s failure to foment any kind of voter ID or election integrity, even at a grassroots level, during his four years was a complete failure.

1
MasterOfIllusions 1 point ago +1 / -0

Let's say that President Trump did get the kind of election integrity laws we wanted. What would prevent states from just breaking those laws at the last minute, exactly like they did with the laws that are already in place?

1
Dontdoxxxmeplease 1 point ago +1 / -0

Need to primary Ducey out, he is a shitbag who is trying to make himself look good after stealing my vote and other Arizonians who voted for Trump.

1
Kmdub2 1 point ago +1 / -0

If only the media would ask "WHY are you taking steps to prevent election fraud when all you douchebags swear that the 2020 election was "the safest and most secure election of all time"?" If it really WAS, then wow, y'all should want to replicate that every season. Right?

1
cbonez416 1 point ago +1 / -0

Facebook money is ok!!! Nonsense!! Get a life and get a clue. These people are all bought and owned and the scariest part is they qll dont realize its happening!! They are all owned and don't see the pattern!!

1
Thep1mp 1 point ago +1 / -0

They realize it. They are ~literally~ bought and paid for. They took money and power in exchange for doing what they do. They weren’t taken advantage of, they are in on it.

1
cbonez416 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thats fair. I believe the higher ups in like the senate or leaders of the house know more then they want us to know. Little morons on state levels are surfs that get used to push it further.

1
beev_bove_biv 1 point ago +1 / -0

We already had laws against this. The reason Zuckerberg and others broke them is because they knew they would never face a penalty for doing so.

Similarly, this new law will not matter to them. They will violate it again, and they will not be held accountable.

Something tells me Ducey already knows this, and he intends to use this phony press to attract conservative voters. Let's hope nobody is dumb enough to fall for it.

Not that it matters, since everyone knows the last election was rigged, and it is a guarantee that all future elections will be less transparent and there will be greater manipulation of the votes.
