Homosexuality occurs naturally in the animal kingdom, so it's clearly a natural occurring sexual deviation or disability.

I presume someone can believe they are gay due to mental illness or trauma, so perhaps there is so merit to this comic.

Not really...true homosexuality means no reproduction, therefore those genes cannot be passed on. There is bisexuality that occurs that is capable of being passed on, but actual homosexuality cannot be inherited, by definition. Homosexuality differing in this case from homosexual behavior, the later can be done without being the former.

A) Humans are sexual beings. If you only have access to one sex, the majority of folks are probably going to go for the orgasmic endorphin release with whoever is available.

B) Humans are flexible. Sexuality is a spectrum. People can also have preferences. My spouse and I identify as “super straight”. Being involved in an opposite sex relationship is complicated. Sometimes I think it might be easier to communicate with a same sex partner, but apparently partnerships in general just have inherent challenges in communication.

C) Reproduction is important to the species, and we have hormonal drivers to make that happen, but individuals can put different emphasis on the survival of their own offspring. Some people are just sucky parents/people, badly trained, or even stupid. The species has managed to survive thus far, but the future is always unknown.

D) Most people don’t want to know about other people’s sex lives because we are busy with our own. I have zero interest in seeing any of my neighbors (lovely people in a nice variety of ages) or their jiggly bits. This has nothing to do with reproduction.

E) I support civil rights for everyone. I support courtesy and respect for everyone. I don’t care what color your skin is, what your jiggly bits look like, or how you worship (or don’t) - you be you, and we can generally find something in common to chat about. BUT the minute you start infringing on MY rights, there is going to be a war. Keep your own brand of crazy in your own yard, and I will do the same. Smart people want to stay away from my crazy.

My opinion. Yours is welcome to be different.
