There have been 1~2 thoughtful or even reality-attached comments in this entire thread. There is no room for truth on this side of the aisle apparently.
Perhaps you are dealing with something that makes you say this. I find that people on both sides of the aisle have trouble seeing things sometimes. Many of my closest right side of the aisle friends look at the truth, the facts, unflinchingly. Maybe meet some right siders if you're conservative-curious. If not, I wish you well and hope you find what you're looking for.
I am a conservative. Apparently, most of the people on this board are Progressive types who don't feel special enough on the "Left", and are just looking for their own brand of underdog-intersectionalism.
I hope it's mostly just that these threads bring the real loonies out of the woodworks, but I don't know.
So interesting... I would have pegged you as liberal or independent based on the earlier comments. I just take the loonies with a grain of salt. It seems that so many of the whack comments are either trolls... fbi/nsa/cia et al looking to entrap... or plain straight up would be infiltrators (in-fill-traitors_) looking for an online fight or to demoralize those that are conservative. It seems more worthwhile to look for the diamonds... of which there are many. This site provides for me a quick look at the day's news with links to check it out... stress relief and a good laugh or two.... and on this thread.... some of the most thoughtful comments interspersed among the other aforementioned detritus that i have found in a while. Often, time is too precious to spend a lot of it reading through comments. I thank you for taking the small time to respond and try to help understanding. It has been over the last few (many) months, a bastion of hope that there are many who hold liberty and freedom sacrosanct posting and commenting and meme-ing on this forum. Again, hoping you find what you seek. Best to you and yours.
