Prone position (if you can do it off hand more power to ya!)
Depending upon the wind direction, will need to adjust for the wind drift using a range card.
Any further than 1.5 mi, will have to adjust the drop.
Also need to have custom poured 308 bullets packed with IMR 4064 powder and a trusted spotter.
Figuring out powder grain amount for a consistent velocity is also helpful.
I switched to Varget a while back, and never regretted it. Not temperature sensitive.

As long as the targets are at 200+ yards and don't move it shouldn't be a problem.

Indeed, a scope that large deserves an under 1 MOA gun. I'm not sure what rifle that is.

Eh that Scope should be on a M16A4 system or a "Musket" setup as we called the m16A4's in the Army.
It should be on any rifle you want to hit a mile-long shot on.
I don't know how accurate that rifle is - I can't find any info on whether it's less than 1 moa accuracy.
I also have to embarrassingly admit that I don't know much about the 308, but it looks like it's a long range round.
