Considering Biden is poking the bear and is waiting for Russia to be "aggressive" toward Ukraine to start war, I don't think it will be Cold at all. As far as I'm concerned, this will be the start of WWIII.
With the world powers fighting amongst themselves, not just for "Ukraine" but for a new pecking order, the rest of the world will air their grievances as well through bloodshed instead of diplomatic discussion. North Korea/South Korea/Japan, China and Taiwan/Hong Kong, China and India, China and Japan, Palestine and Israel, etc.
IMO Ukraine is just a sideshow compared to what the war would really be about, which is the current world order (US in power, world falling into decay) versus a new one.
Are we entering a Cold War 2.0 where a cultural Marxist U.S. is up against a Christian Russia and Eastern Europe?
