Why exactly don't we execute people for murder? I get that there's always the possibility that they were falsely convicted, but that's solvable by giving them a five year prison sentence and setting up a sort-of bounty system to encourage private ventures to continue investigation and bring it back to Court if they find anything new that would exonerate the accused.
Why do we waste resources on letting them live yea I don't know it pisses me off.
At least in the clear cut cases. I'm not crazy about the death penalties' record of being used on innocent people. When they got away from "beyond reasonable doubt" being the bases for convictions we lost all authority to execute those people. Death penalty was outlawed once in this country, it resulted in public lynching's for people who got off to easy even after conviction. Maybe we should just correct our courts and stop making laws 🤷♂️
Unfortunately I looked into this a long time ago. The cost of just the TRiAL versus housing these fucking worthless animals for the rest of their lives is far more.
