Not trying to be a know it all or jerk just giving you and everyone else some cool info. It doesn’t look like a jet at all to me. Maybe a 6 seat prop plane with the back seats taken out. Something like a BE58. Don’t get me wrong this guy probably has money. That’s a fresh looking interior and those look like the could be Bose A20 headsets. All of that to say especially if you live in the U.S. flying is more affordable than people realize. It is still an expensive hobby but not much more than if you buy a boat and go deep sea fishing frequently or buy multiple guns and tons of ammo in a year. Another thing is if you’re a dad (or mom) and this is your hobby it opens up tons of avenues for family trips. Weekend trip to the Smithsonian for some learning (ya I know fuck the swamp). Weekend trip to the Smokies. Fly to the Keys for a week. Quick trip a college football game (I know fuck sportsball). It really opens up a ton of shit you can do with your family and even if you have to get the wife liquored up to get into your Cherokee 6 the kid will be wide eyed and filled with wonder lol.

Did someone claim the picture was of a jet? Not picking a fight, just can't see what you're responding to. It's obviously not a jet.

The guy I responded to said “most private jet owners”. Maybe I took him out of context and missed what he responded to. Just wanted to throw out some fun info to get more people to look into aviation and it made a good spot.

You and I may be able to tell it’s obviously not a jet however, aviation is a rather small community especially general aviation. I always take any opportunity I can to try to get people interested.

Uh...what are you flying that’s cheaper than a few guns and a couple thousand rounds annually? I can’t get out of the FBO for less than a grand only going for an afternoon outing. If I did that 6 times a year, that might not be enough to stay current. And minimum 6k cost.
