Why would they kill their biggest source of income? Taxpayers hold them up? I’m not saying I disagree with you, but how does killing the population help them?
When the new global government takes over they won't care about money. The way they phrase it is "You will own nothing and be happy." Literal Communism. The currency will be your Social Credit Score. They see our population size as a problem. More people = more demand for resources. They want small docile populations locked up in cities so they're easy to control.

That is also one of my issues with "mass swift depopulation" idea. Not denying it might be their plan, but basically, yeah - why kill the tax slaves?
Devise some more efficient way to entrap people in their current enslavement? Seems more logical.
