That's the thing.
They think the little slights they experience don't happen to other people.
They think white people don't get killed by the police when reaching for a gun, or don't get pulled over for being in a sketchy area at 2am, or don't occasionally get called second in line when they were there first.

I see this on the YouTube channel Gas Station Encounters. They confront people who shoplift in their store. 99% of the videos are white people. I've seen like 3 times where it was a black person. All 3 of those times ended with them saying, "IT'S CUZ IM BLACK." No it's not, it's because you're a moron thief. Hundreds of other videos show they stop white people much more often than black people.
Fuck, I'm a vegan and was sent chicken along with the dinner I ordered last night. I just threw it out but I'm not white so I clearly should have called the police.
