The big problem is few people on either side of the argument are willing to separate "Jewish communist leaders" or "Jewish globalists" from the "average Jewish American" or "average Israeli" and quickly the argument descends into idiocy.

However I don't think it's productive to dwell on that. First Jews aren't a monolith not all Jews are on board with that project. Second it gives them ammo to cry anti-semitism and avoid addressing actual criticisms of their ideology.
