Read - not buy, but read - his autobiography "How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big" and reflect on why persuasion is so effective and why people are naturally inclined to make up their minds quickly. Follow up with Cialdini's "Influence" and "Pre-Suasion" if you're further interested.
