If I didn't have a gun, I'd be dead following this. Officers have those protections because they have to put their lives on the line to do their job, Without those protection, who would that those risks?

The laws also mandate bodycam usage statewide by 2025, ban nighttime “no-knock” raids

This is the only good thing in the bill and they even half-assed that. I don't even understand hwo no-knock raids are even legal.

The argument to allow them was that it was "necessary" to prevent certain suspects from either being able to muster a defense or to make an escape. The reality of why they actually wanted it was, as usual, far different.
