As to your question, yes, I watched the entire video. As to the officer's actions, that is your personal interpretation of the LEO's actions, nothing more. Being a vet who is dealing with another soldier, he could have been extending professional courtesy out of respect and also alleviating the paperwork at the same time. Many LEO/civilian interactions end this way when they deal with active duty and former military.
"put your hands out of the vehicle and turn the vehicle off", "keep your hands outside the window and get out of the car" there is no way to comply to backwards instructions without risking getting shot.
[person]"what's goin on"...[cop]"what's going on is your fixing to ride the lightening son"...[person]"I'm sorry what?"
[person]"I'm honestly afraid to get out"...[cop]"you should be"
The soldiers is a dunce and evidently deaf. He could have simply exited the car when they first told him. When a cop detects a person is stalling and not following commands the cop will get instantly suspicious that the suspect is either planning on running or making a plan to fight. Cops are not there to play games, battle witts or take chances. Get out of the car seems like a simply instruction to follow. Too bad this soldier had the mentality of a twelve year old.
The problem isn't the contradictory commands, the problem is insistence in reasoning and bargaining with the police. He wanted everything done on his terms; not going to happen. He wasted a lot of breath acting like a drama doosh. With all his blabbering he could ask the officers what they wanted him to do first, and then do it. He persisted to act uncooperative and evasive. Cops will not tolerate being strung along, it gives a perp time to strategize.
"We followed you for a mile and half with lights on"
Meanwhile, every single Press Officer will routinely tell people if they are concerned, they should drive with their flashers on at a low rate of speed until you can reach a well lit area.
He doesn't do anything the officers say. Also this video starts after the lights and sirens were on. How long did it take him to pull over? I don't like order followers but this is just retarded.
the Police are fucking criminals too. Just because they get some "criminals" off the street, doesn't mean they don't have a history of criminal activity.
Break down: no plates on the car. Cop sees this, hits lights and follows. Driver finally decided to stop. Officers use lvl 1 & 2 UOF. Subject is non-compliant. Subject puts arm over door lock and resists have the door opened. Subject is now active resistor. Officer applies lvl 3. Subject strikes officer, subject is now a active aggressor.
Subject removed from vehicle. Identified. Medically treated and let off with a warning.
What he did: driving without a license plate. Resisted officers. Assaulted an officer.
He should have gotten out of the car.
Further: Officer Obese Biker Stache knows he fucked up and that's why he's going out of his way to avoid paperwork.
He'd have been shot by that donut muncher that couldn't run a mile was screaming conflicting demands.
Rookie is bitching because he dared to have to follow him a whopping 3 city blocks.
I'm a libertarian, but.....
To the extrematarians that are calling cops criminals and making asinine comments....
Get a grip.
99% of these interactions gone bad are caused by the suspects not following lawful orders and/or failing to use common sense.
Did you even watch the entire video? Officer Stumpy McShitstache knows he fucked up so bad he is trying to prevent paperwork.

No, the cop is just being nice. He knows this will end the O-1 career. Butter bars don't have much room for screwing up.
I get you want all cops removed, but you having zero LE experience is showing how you rationalize what you just saw.
shouldve gotten out
These cops instructions are shit ...

He should have exited the car, it's a pretty simple way of not escalating the situation.
Was he supposed to phase through the door?
No, he could use the handle.
Would require him to "reach for something" - I wouldn't have trusted that hopped up unprofessional shit head either. Stop defending bad cops.
You have a door handle on both sides of the door. Hands already outside the window. May as well use the one closer to your hands.

Explain this.
Literally the first command is "show me both of your hands and turn off the vehicle" but hey, let's not bother with facts.

Oh shut the fuck up.
You're as fucking stupid as the ACAB idiots over on reddit.
SOME COPS SHOULDN'T BE COPS.
Every job you will ever work, you will have a co-worker that is shit at that job. Why the fuck do you think policing is any different?
Okay. Where is the dash cam footage showing how long they followed him?
They talk about it - it's three and a half blocks.
"We followed you for a mile and half with lights on"
Meanwhile, every single Press Officer will routinely tell people if they are concerned, they should drive with their flashers on at a low rate of speed until you can reach a well lit area.

The officer have their guns out before they exit the vehicle and he keeps both hands outside the vehicle the entire stop.
Stop defending shitty cops.
It makes valid defense impossible you fucking tool.
All cops are order following scum. This is just disingenuous posting.
