I feel as if my vote doesn't matter. I fear for rule of law breaking down. I fear the government confiscating my guns. I'm scared for the America my daughter will grow up in. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but I feel as if the left elite is winning the battle. I'll go down swinging - promise you that. Hold the line, my fellow pedes. We're all we got.

How I feel? The lazy ass controlling Baby Boomers are handing the baton to the Lazy ass Millenials, and the Millenials are loving it. They are loving the idea that cheating and not getting punished for it means you win. They love that they can get other people to do everything for them. They love that they don't have to care. Gen X are the ones getting screwed over here, and the Boomers and the Millenials just don't care. The Boomers are happy to pass the torch to their grand kids. It was, probably, always their intention.
The truth is, they're right. GenX can't fight the Boomers and the Millenials. And what the Boomers are handing down to the Millenials is incredibly strong. Which is why we hate it so much. Power and control. I feel like I'm being very abstract, but having a millenial ex girlfriend as of a few months ago, and a lot of millenial friends, along with Boomer parents, etc. I really feel it.
All this was, directly, aimed at screwing over gen x. Some boomers die, which puts the squeeze on the ones who may have fought, but in all, we - who did all the work to build everything we have now - have gotten, effectively, screwed over.
Part of me thinks we may never even get a true GenX president. I think they will try to skip GenX and put a Millenial in next. I have been wrong, I'm not psychic, I'm no expert, I'm just a guy with a keyboard. I, just, see it everywhere I look. And I don't think it's just weird paranoia or conspiracy theory.
Why would a Gen X president matter so much? Obama is Gen X and where did that get us?
Obama was a young Boomer. People call him GenX, but he's 10 years older than I am. Why they called him Gen X, I have no clue. I, personally, would like to see a Right Wing Gen X president. I think that everyone wants to see their best interests represented by the president of the USA at some point in their lives. I, happen, to be a white male. Obama, in my estimation, marginalized and discriminated heavily against white males during his presidency. Now, I feel my whole generation is being swept aside, on top of it.
Obama, most certainly, did not represent anyone I know in my generation at any point in time. Most people I speak to in my age bracket are pretty angry over what's happened. This is what I believe. We built a lot, we contributed a lot to everything in the world today, but our voice was just squashed like a bug.
I watched it in videos from the Capital. So many in that group were Gen X. We followed the rules. We only broke them when someone else broke them for us. We did not stand up for ourselves. Our narrative was not heard. Our voice is effectively silenced, because we are too polite and nice.
That protest, compared to the protests in the 60s by the Boomers was very tame. We did barely anything. We walked in and took pictures. But their narrative was the one that everyone hears. Because they care more about being heard that we do. They don't care about the rules, they care about making the rules. That we happily follow.
I, personally, think we have something to say. And that it's important. I'm sorry. The Me generation screamed what they had to say on loudspeakers and radio stations all over the world, then we did their work for them. We built their things. Quietly, and earnestly. I think that we learned a great deal from all that, and I think that our experience and our knowledge is important to future generations. I really do.
Perhaps I'm confused.To your thinking, Gen X did all the work for The Boomers and built things for the boomers? I'm just trying to understand what you're saying.
