I figure if our Senators and House members start seeing pictures of hundreds of checks for donations given to MTG's re-election campaign, but getting few themselves while MTG's election coffers explode with money, well, we might make a point to a few congresscritters.

Buycots always work better than boycots.

Highly underrated comment.

Boycotts are part of the patriarchy.

Cool. Just block out the account number at the bottom of the check.

NotAPuma 7 points ago +7 / -0

Indeed the Globalist would just love to know your trying to stand against them

He might want to sign his name on the letter. But a bank account number is private information and made public, can expose him to financial fraud.

My senator is Josh Hawley. I guess I'll write 2 checks.

They will just send you a pic of the check Walmart just gave them for $87,000,000.

Wait, you think they care? Or need money? The republican party is bought and owned by the same people who bought and own the Democrats.

3
Farmerbob1 [S] 3 points ago +4 / -1

Yes, I know they care, and I know they need money. Even if a politician is utterly corrupt, they still struggle against the other utterly corrupt politicians in competition, and need money for bribes, etc.

If you don't work with what you have, nothing gets done.

IMHO, we're not to the point where we need to consider non-peaceful means of resistance. Yet.

DrinkLikeAGilmore 1 point ago +1 / -0

They dont NEED money. They just know that WE do and they do and say whatever they can to take MORE of OURS.

Perfectly fine. Just blackout all private information.

Heck for the point, all you need is to and amount showing.

Excellent.

Fuck that. I don't need a fucking dog to sit because he expects a treat. I need a dog to sit because I tell him to. I'm the master. These fucking clowns played us all throughout Trump's term and many gave donations. The minute it didn't serve them to support Trump, they turned tail faster than I've ever seen. Those slimy fucking pieces of shit can rot in hell for all I care. Not one red hot cent, not now, not ever. EVER.

MTG does what she does because she's a patriot. I don't want someone doing "the right thing" because they get paid. THAT'S corruption.

Farmerbob1 [S] 1 point ago +4 / -3

They are politicians. Sorry to break it to you, but we do need to lead most of them by the nose.

2
_deleted_ 2 points ago +3 / -1

You're not dropping some holy knowledge here, I can do without the patronization. Politicians are corrupt. A statement being "broken" to nobody.

However, Trump taught us many things, one of those things being that we can have politicians who aren't corrupt. He was the embodiment of that fact. So now that I've had the filet mignon, no, I refuse to accept anything less than the best. You're telling me "eat your expired ground beef, and pay for it". Fuck. That.

Farmerbob1 [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

So, Trump spoiled you and you refuse to support anyone that you do not believe to be on his level?

There is an old phrase that is appropriate here. "Perfect is the enemy of good enough."

If your standards are too high, then expect failure.

So, Trump spoiled you and you refuse to support anyone that you do not believe to be on his level?

You don't have to put words in my mouth and then make little comments on what you want me to have said. Unless of course by "Trump's level" you mean "not corrupt" then hell fucking yes that's what I mean. I will not support someone corrupt.

1
Farmerbob1 [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

What I am saying is that Trump is one of the greatest Presidents we've ever had. I do not expect others to be at his level. You shouldn't either. If Trump does not make it back into the White House (he's getting up there in years, even if he seems reasonably healthy,) the next person I vote for who manages to make it into the White House will almost certainly not be on Trump's level. I will be more than a little pleased to be proved wrong, but I doubt I will be.

Did I say I needed them to be at his level, or not corrupt? Why can't you read? Just fucking read. There's no argument fuck face, quit looking for one. I WILL NOT SUPPORT A CORRUPT POLITICIAN RETARD! NEITHER SHOULD YOU. Simple enough?

The Deep State pays way better and they don't give you much of a choice

Farmerbob1 [S] 3 points ago +4 / -1

Doing nothing gets less done.

2
CoffeeIsForClosers 2 points ago +2 / -0

They get one of those for not doing their fucking job anyway.

2
Farmerbob1 [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

Sure, but if money wasn't a motivator for them, they wouldn't take a salary.

Truth

Better yet, you can tell them to do what she says.

I like it

Love it! Money talks

Smartest post I've seen today

Lyinlikebiden1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sound stratagem. Just need patriot CEO’s to help make the donations big enough to get national attention. A few hundred of us donating 1-200$ isn’t going to do much in the grand scene of things.. but I agree in theory

2
Brookes 2 points ago +2 / -0

Excellent idea! Now I know what I’m doing today!

TwelveMoreYears 1 point ago +3 / -2

Stop feeding the rats. Did you ever consider that option?

3
Farmerbob1 [S] 3 points ago +5 / -2

No, because we will not be getting rid of politicians any time soon. All we can do is try to lead them by the wallet.

1
DrinkLikeAGilmore 1 point ago +1 / -0

They are being paid off in much larger amounts of money than we can provide and we shouldn't HAVE to pay money to those who are supposed to represent America and its citizens. Unless you have blackmail evidence on their evil deeds and massive greenbacks, they don't give a fuck about our wants & needs.

Do you have any concept of how much money politicians get from small donors?

Wait, based on your comment, the answer is clearly no.

1
DrinkLikeAGilmore 1 point ago +1 / -0

And you believe they ONLY have small donors?

🙄

-1
Farmerbob1 [S] -1 points ago +1 / -2

No, but some politicians are better at getting lots of small donations than getting a few big ones. Sanders and Trump were both quite good at attracting small donors in very large numbers.
