My Mom is the smartest person I have ever known in my entire life. She has started multiple businesses across the country, and all of them have been wildly successful. She has never failed at anything and never let me down.

But when Trump got elected, she changed, in the past four years I have seen a side of her that is vicious angry and hateful. She repeats all CNN talking points constantly.

I have respectfully declined to talk politics, because she blows up screaming about any fact that challenges her programming. So I just opt out of any conversation, with a polits no thanks.

I manage one of the businesses for the past 15 years. Everything has gone very well for me and our relationship has come through mostly unscathed.

Until now, there is a major problem that is about to come to a head. The state government required us to request our employees vaccination status. I refused to comply. So she has been sending out memos encouraging all employees to get vaccinated, and behind closed doors is talking about finding reasons to get rid of people that won't get the shot.

She asked me, and I straight up said, NO, I will not take the vaccine. She told me that I am going to be responsible for the next 300k deaths, and I asked why I would let that happen.

I thought about it, and said one word... Freedom... and that was the end of the conversation. She stared at me for 30 seconds with her jaw clenched, stood up said I hope your happy, then left my office.

We haven't talked in 3 days which is unusual, I am worried that I am going to be pushed out next somehow.

Congratulations government interference has finally forced us to confront eachother.

Any advice?

Might as well ask the question "Does your mother eat?"

for one, he never said she hates trump. two, I would have assumed that, since she watches a ton of cnn, and I would have assumed she is not religious. looks like that's not the case. this is why I prefer facts :D

Yes, she is way more religious than me. I go to church on holidays and a rare Sunday. She travels to an oldshool church 50 miles away, every sunday.

is it one of those rainbow churches? maybe have a look at what they're doing to the jews in israel, and show her, and see if she agrees with how they're handling it. shutting down the synagogues, and putting tracking bracelets on everyone, etc.

You might be on to something, I dont know how her faith and CNN could possibly be on the same page. I am definately going to visit the church this Sunday.

BTW, that was very good intuition, that thought had not even crossed my mind, now it sounds extremely suspicious.

how does her church teach her to trust idols over God?

the bible specifically forbids this in 100 different ways.

don't blame God. she hasn't spent time in Bible scholarship
