There's a scene from Barney Miller where this kid is asked who he spoke to and he says, "Not him, the colored guy." He means he spoke to Harris, the black guy, but Nick, the Asian cop says, "I'm the colored guy. He's black. Everyone else is blank."
I have never heard of this show before and now I want to check it out! Thanks for the info, that is seriously funny and doubt would ever get passed editing today in pedowood. It's insane how little, if any, representation patriots have had in the entertainment industry.
