They are living in a bubble, getting high on their own supply, reading their own press clippings, sniffing their own farts.

They, and by they I mean the so called "elite", believe that this is what the general population wants to hear. Twitter tells them so. Facebook tells them so. Their friends tell them so. Their teachers at their private school told them so. Their professor at Wharton Business School told them so.
