The issue with opportunity is they refused him the option to lie face down with his hands motionless above his head. They forced him to crawl towards them with conflicting orders. They put him into the position of supposed "opportunity" when he was more than willing to comply by lying motionless.

Ability? Alleged, unconfirmed, and later determined to be false. zero indication that the weapon (which was reported to be a rifle btw) could have been on his person in any way.. so scratch that off.

So we have intent at none.. We have ability at no. opportunity we have at "by mandate of cop providing orders at gunpoint".

Maybe we should raise our standards just a tad... This wasn't a situation of a dindu charging a cop, having a past criminal record, having been in the process of committing a crime..

This was a man who was executed by a cop due to a Karen false reporting. This cop then ended up getting away with manslaughter, and gets paid for the trouble. Cops should be held to higher standards with harsher punishments than the rest of us. Until that day, ACAB.

No. If you rush someone and try to take their weapon off him, expect him to use it on you. If you escalate something to a life-or-death situation I can't be too opposed to it being your life that is ended.

You show me an unarmed black man shot while on his knees and complying with police orders and I'll call for that cop to get the death penalty too.
